    These matte black, stainless steel wick trimmers are designed to keep your candles burning perfectly. This super stylish accessory make the perfect extra to any gift or to add to your curated coffee table aesthetic.
     
    It is crucial to trim your candle wick to 3-5mm before each burn, making sure to remove any 'mushroom' from the end.
    Failing to trim your wick and remove the 'mushroom' can lead to a large flame which can cause excess soot which can damage your walls. Excess debris will fall into the wax making it discoloured and effecting the fragrance.
    A large flame can lead to a potential fire hazard and cause the jar to overheat, often resulting in it shattering.
    Keeping the wick short and flame small will make you candle last longer and burn better.

Everything to do with Orphic Living is designed, sourced and made in our tiny studio workshop in Bath, Somerset. 

Founded by Emily whose obsession with candles, craft and a cosy environment led her to partake in a short candle making course, after lots (and lots) of trial and error, Orphic Living was born in May 2020. 

Emily runs Orphic Living with the help of Joe who is chief of logistics, spreadsheets and washing up + Buster The Bunny who helps recycle any excess cardboard.

We use the finest fragrance oils which are phthalate free and set in 100% natural soy wax. Soy wax ensures a clean, slow, even burn and is biodegradable. It’s kinder to the planet and to the air in your home.
